The Patrol comes with two petrol V6 engines: a 3.8L V6 making 316 hp and 386 Nm, and a 3.5L twin-turbo V6 making 425 hp and 700 Nm. Both drive all four wheels through a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Output ranges from 316 hp and 386 Nm on the 3.8L V6 to 425 hp and 700 Nm on the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 — strong pulling power for highway overtakes and loaded desert driving.
Every Patrol variant seats eight across three rows, with rear air-conditioning vents and a 3-zone climate system, making it well suited to large families and long group journeys.
Yes. All variants use four-wheel drive with Sand, Mud and Rock drive modes, hill-start assist and hill descent control. Approach angles run up to 32 degrees, and the Pro 4X adds all-terrain tyres and adaptive air suspension.
Higher trims add Nissan's ProPilot suite with lane keep assist, intelligent cruise control, blind-spot intervention, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking. The base XE and SE T2 do not include ProPilot.
Every variant comes with seven airbags, covering driver, front passenger, front side, curtain and driver knee positions, alongside ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution and an electric parking brake with auto hold.
SE variants use the 3.8L V6 with 316 hp, while LE variants and the Pro 4X step up to the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 with 425 hp and 700 Nm. LE trims also gain more luxury kit and, on Platinum City, adaptive air suspension.
Adaptive air suspension is fitted to the LE Platinum City and the Pro 4X, which can raise ride height for off-road clearance. Other variants use a conventional coil-spring setup with independent double-wishbone suspension.
Top trims feature twin 14.3-inch displays, a 12-speaker Klipsch sound system, wireless charging, ventilated and massaging front seats, quilted leather and a head-up display. The base XE is simpler, with cloth seats and six speakers.
Every Patrol pairs its petrol V6 engine with a 9-speed automatic gearbox and four-wheel drive, with paddle shifters on the higher trims for manual gear control.
